Salary is based on the T rates of the Local Government (State) Award, (based on 76 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation.

About the role
The Apprentice Painter role requires a person who demonstrates interest, motivation and attitude for this trade. Working closely with the building management services team, you will gain knowledge and experience in providing assistance in the painting of council structures.
Position requirements
- The ability and commitment to complete a 4 year Apprenticeship inclusive of a 3 year TAFE course in Cert.3 Painting and Decorating.
- Class C Drivers license or the willingness to obtain within a specified period.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card) or the willingness to obtain within a specified period.
- The ability to Work at Heights
- The ability to carry out the physical requirements of the role.
About you
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are passionate about painting. You will have good communication skills, enjoy working in a team environment and have a willingness to learn. You will need the ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role.
