As our new Airport Compliance and Administration Officer you will make an impact by playing a vital role in ensuring the Dubbo Regional Airport and Wellington Aerodrome operate in full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements protecting our visitors and community. This isn't just paperwork. This is purpose in action. You'll have impact by maintaining the critical systems that keep our airports running at their best—coordinating audits that uphold safety, maintaining the documentation that ensures accountability, and supporting the Manager Airport Strategy and Operations in driving excellence across our operations.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Maintaining and auditing key documents such as the Transport Security Program, Safety Management System, and Aerodrome Manual to ensure ongoing legislative compliance —ensuring our operations meet every legislative requirement that protects our community.
  • Enabling seamless airport operations through expert administration - managing the documentation, reporting, and systems that keep our team informed, organised, and responsive.
  • Protecting our airport's operational integrity by ensuring compliance with legislative obligations.
  • Building the relationships that drive success - liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including airlines and emergency services, to meet compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Contributing to a safer workplace - monitoring airport assets, supporting WHS initiatives, and championing the practices that protect our team and visitors every day.  

 

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Business or Compliance and Risk Management, or currently enrolled with demonstrated progress towards completion within 12 months.
  • Demonstrated high levels of administrative, organisational and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated experience in aviation industry and contractor management
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and dealing with different stakeholder levels.
  • High level written and oral communication skills, effective negotiation skills, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and show effective time management skills and accountability working in a diverse environment.

We would also love you to have:

  • High level of understanding and knowledge of airport/airline operations, reporting, compliance, and local government functions.
  • Aerodrome Reporting Officer / Works Safety Officer Certificate

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $80,529 to $93,588.
