Temporary full time – up to 2 years

Work with Council’s Landscape team to deliver projects that provide high quality facilities for the local community including public amenities, playgrounds and sportgrounds.

Salary

$93,342 to $120,258 per annum (based on 70 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation and a 9 day fortnight.  Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience

About the role
In your role, you will manage the delivery of quality landscape projects undertaken by Council in relation to public reserves and sportsgrounds, with the main focus being the development of local play spaces and park amenities.
The position provides for a varied skill set crossing a wide range of professional competencies including landscape design, documentation and project management. Your high standard of professional skills and customer service will be most sought after.

Position requirements
You will have tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture and are eligible to become a Registered Landscape Architect, as determined by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).

About you
You will have demonstrated experience in management of all stages of public landscape and/or park amenities building projects including planning, design, consultation, documentation and construction.
Excellent communication and customer relationship skills, along with sound judgment and negotiation skills will be required in this role.
