About the Role

Reporting to the Manger Libraries and Community Service Delivery, in the role of Senior Coordinator Community Services you will oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of strategic initiatives across portfolios including:

  • Children, Youth and Families
  • Seniors and Disability Inclusion
  • Cultural Diversity
  • Arts and Cultural Development
  • and Social Planning

You will lead a high-performing team, drive innovation, and collaborate across sectors to embed creative and social outcomes.

Your commencing annual salary will range from $127,953.42 to $148,783.05 + superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.

The City of Ryde is seeking a dynamic Senior Coordinator Community Services to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering high-impact programs and services that foster community wellbeing, cultural participation, and social inclusion.

Key requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Planning, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 Years experience in the leading of a high achieving multidisciplinary team for community development and arts and cultural services, projects and programs
  • Provide expert advice on social planning and future community needs.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to support community capacity building
  • Represent Council at Council meetings, forums, committees and working groups and contribute to broader organisational initiatives.
