About the Role
City of Ryde is currently undergoing extensive residential and commercial development, which has created unique engineering challenges, particularly in the field of Asset Management. This role is crucial in maintaining the City of Ryde's Asset Management System and implementing asset management improvements to ensure there is a strategic approach to funding the provision of these new and emerging infrastructures and services over the long term for the City.
About You
We're looking for an experienced and strategic Civil Engineer who enjoys team leadership responsibilities together with the complexities of providing direction to a variety of stakeholders in relation to Asset Management Planning and Forecasting. You will have demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills and judgement, including the ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy and guidelines, including Asset Management Frameworks.
In addition you will also have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Extensive experience in the management of large-scale infrastructure / asset management portfolios
- Hands-on experience in the development or administration of asset management systems
- High level computer systems knowledge and skills in data management
- Well-developed written communication skills with experience in the development of business specifications
- Demonstrated ability in researching new subject areas and providing management level reports
- Class C drivers' licence
