Salary
$66,299 to $74,273 per annum (based on 70 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation and a 9 day fortnight. Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience

About the role
The Records Management Officer position has three major components:
- Capturing, classifying, registering and tracking records and information within the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS)
- Creating service requests within the customer request management system
- Scanning files and maintaining the hard copy file system.
Position requirements
- Knowledge of Recordkeeping Principles
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good computer literacy
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experience in using TRIM Content Manager software or similar Records Management System
About you
We are looking for a pro-active, enthusiastic person who can undertake allocated tasks within agreed deadlines. An understanding of records management principles and relevant legislation is useful for this role in assisting Council staff to meet their legal obligations. At the same time, a commitment to good quality customer service is required to ensure that Council staff meet their service delivery targets.
The ability to work in a team environment is critical to the success of this role and you will be expected to work in a business office environment.
