About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our Passive Parks and Streetscape team. As a Truck Driver you will perform a variety of driver services including but not limited to transporting team members from Council's Operations Centre to work sites, transport material and equipment, undertake basic maintenance of equipment, assist with loading and unloading material and equipment, provide support to the Passive Parks and Streetscape team as required.
About You
You have a minimum MR driver's licence with proven commercial truck driving and labouring experience. You have demonstrated experience towing trailers and are a capable and reliable team member with an ability to work unsupervised or under limited supervision.
In addition, you will also have:
- General Induction Certificate (white card)
- Proven competent experience in truck driving
- Ability to work unsupervised and perform a variety of driver services
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Demonstrated ability to maintain work safety and adhere to WHS requirements
- Experience and skills in parks and gardens, civil or landscape construction
- Experience in towing of trailers
