- Base Salary: From $76,349.00 (Grade 10, Step 1) per annum
- Plus: 12% superannuation
- Total Package: $85,510.88 per annum
The successful candidate will have access to step increases for the grade based on competency assessment and tenure within this position.

The Opportunity
Strathfield Council is seeking a motivated Property Officer to join our team.
In this role, you will support the administration of Council’s property portfolio, including leases, licences, permits and financial processes. You will provide responsive customer service, maintain accurate records, and help deliver efficient property and commercial services.

What You Will Be Doing
- Administer leases, licences, permits and occupancy agreements, including renewals and rent reviews
- Process invoices, monitor payments and assist with revenue reporting
- Manage property-related permits and approvals
- Respond to enquiries from tenants, applicants and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate property, financial and compliance records
- Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance issues
- Support the delivery of Council’s property and commercial operations.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications at TAFE, Certificate IV level or equivalent experience in administration, property, business or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience in an office or operational support environment
- Demonstrated customer service focus, with the ability to respond professionally to enquiries and provide timely, accurate and courteous service to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear correspondence, maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
- High-level organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a busy operational environment
- Demonstrated ability to use office software applications (such as Microsoft Office Suite) and experience using corporate systems such as ERP, finance, property or records management systems
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather information, interpret data, and support routine decision-making and operational tasks
- Current NSW ‘Class C’ Driver’s Licence
