As the Dubbo Libraries Coordinator, you’ll lead a thriving community hub that brings people together to learn, connect and grow. You’ll own the delivery of high-quality library services, shape future programs, and ensure the library continues to evolve with the needs of our community.

Working at the heart of a well-loved facility, you’ll make a real difference, supporting literacy, inclusion, and lifelong learning while leading a capable and committed team.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading and developing a team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused library services that support community outcomes

  • Planning and delivering programs, collections and services that respond to evolving community needs and trends

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy library branch, including facilities, reporting and performance

  • Contributing to regional library strategy, planning and service development across the network

  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and supporting community engagement initiatives

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Library and Information Science with eligibility for ALIA membership

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams to achieve outcomes

  • Strong experience delivering high-quality library or information services

  • Ability to plan, evaluate and improve services, programs and collections

  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement

We would also love you to have:

  • Experience working in a public library environment

  • Experience with Library Management Systems and strong digital literacy skills

  • Understanding of emerging trends and innovations in library services

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $100,399 to $116,679
