About the Role

As the Senior Grounds & Maintenance Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining our tourist park facilities and grounds while providing leadership and support to the team. Working closely with the Tourist Park Supervisor, you will help coordinate daily operations, step into a leadership capacity when required, and ensure a safe, well-presented environment that delivers a positive experience for guests.

This hands-on role involves leading grounds and maintenance activities, supervising staff, coordinating contractors and maintenance projects, and undertaking a variety of tasks including mowing, gardening, cleaning, laundry, cabin preparation, and general repairs. You will also assist with operational administration, ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety requirements, and maintain strong communication with guests, contractors, and stakeholders.

About you

You are an experienced maintenance professional with strong leadership skills and a customer-focused approach. With a background in grounds maintenance, landscaping, building maintenance, a trade, or a similar field, you are confident leading teams, coordinating work, and delivering high-quality results.

A proactive problem solver, you can work independently, manage competing priorities, and step into a leadership role when needed. You build positive relationships with staff, contractors, and guests, have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety, and are comfortable balancing hands-on maintenance with administrative tasks, including reports, purchase orders, and workplace documentation.

A current Class C Driver Licence (or equivalent) is essential.

If you take pride in maintaining high-quality facilities, supporting teams, and finding practical solutions, we'd love to hear from you!
