The role leads the Community and Programs Team and is responsible for the management and delivery of services and programs to the community, as well as marketing and promotion activities.

Salary

$93 342 to $104 459 per annum (based on 70 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation, and a 9 day fortnight.  Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience.

About the role

The Community and Programs Coordinator is responsible for managing the Community and Programs Team, overseeing the delivery of services and programs, ensuring high-quality customer service and facilities maintenance, and leading marketing and promotional activities. The role relies heavily on teamwork and requires that work be prioritised according to customer need.

 

Position requirements

  • Degree or post graduate qualification in Library and Information Science or equivalent, accepted by the Australian Library and Information Association for professional membership
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Working with Children’s Check

You are an enthusiastic, innovative and customer focused professional with demonstrated experience in planning, promoting and delivering community-focused library programs, who is able to lead and motivate a team while also working independently with strong accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to meet agreed deadlines.
