Position Type 
Permanent full time role 

Salary 
$56,111 to $63,067 per annum (based on 76 hours per fortnight) plus superannuation and an RDO each fortnight. Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience

About the role 
We are seeking an energetic worker with good interpersonal skills to join our Parks Maintenance Crews. The position will work as part of a small team maintaining parks and oval surrounds.  Duties include the use of ride on and push grasscutting units, whipper snippers, hand blowers and linemarking equipment. The crew are also responsible for the cleaning of amenities and vegetation maintenance within the crews area. 

Position Requirements 

  • Current Class C Driver licence (essential) 
  • General Construction Induction Certificate (essential) 
  • A current MR Licence (desirable) 

About you 
Your new role requires the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines as set by the Parks Service Unit Supervisors. A high standard of service is needed to take appropriate action in response to a variety of demands. Good physical fitness is critical as the person is required to carry out manual labouring tasks. Good listening and communication skills are essential to ensure directions and instructions are carried out safely, promptly and accurately.
