Senior Project Officer
Upper Lachlan Shire Council are seeking a Senior Project officer.

- 35 hour week on the basis of a 9 day fortnight
- Crookwell Location
- Fortnightly RDO for work-life balance

- Salary range starts at $1707 - $1931 per week + superannuation (Grade 14 in accordance with Council's Salary System and the Local Government State Award
- Civil liability allowance for those with tertiary qualifications.
An opportunity for a Senior Project Officer in our Infrastructure team to focus on helping to make our Shire an even better place.
The role:
- Coordination of diverse and complex major local government projects in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of high-quality project documentation and compliance frameworks.
- Undertaking safety, quality, environment and traffic control inspections for projects.
- Preparation of design plans, tender documents, specifications, cost estimates, and construction schedules, and administer contracts in compliance with council policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
- Provision of advice and professional guidance to managers with respect to matters likely to impact service delivery and project completion.
Who are we looking for?
You are a competent professional who can coordinate the planning, design and delivery of projects to meet the Shire's organisational priorities.
Your project coordination skills include expertise in the delivery of rural road and bridge construction, drainage, urban streets, shared paths and you're also proficient in the technical specifications relating to bridges and road design.
While a degree qualification in civil engineering, construction management or project management related discipline is preferred, should your talent come from your extensive hands-on experience, coupled with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development then are encouraged to apply.
