The Opportunity

Do you have a sharp eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding property services? Join us as a Property Officer and take responsibility for our CBD Parking Portfolio, overseeing 8 carparks and more than 700 licence agreements. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on how parking assets are managed and optimised for our community.

You'll be part of a close-knit team of six and collaborate with the wider property team, who value connection and enjoy social occasions, and celebrating achievements together. This is a Permanent Full Time position.

Salary: $84,708 up to $103,378 per annum plus superannuation (Salary package will be assessed based on skills, experience and qualifications)

How you'll make a difference

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Provide strategic and operational oversight of Council's parking portfolio.
  • Administer and manage licence agreements, contracts, and tenders with precision.
  • Prepare professional letters, reports, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor parking meter performance, occupancy rates, and revenue streams.
  • Analyse financial data, budgets, and reconciliations to ensure compliance and profitability.
  • Negotiate agreements and manage stakeholder relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to future-focused transport strategies.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Degree qualification in property/business and or significant relevant experience.
  • Has experience in lease administration and contract management.
  • Possesses high attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Possesses high-level written and verbal communication skills, including letter and report writing.
  • Brings advanced negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Is proficient in IT systems, Microsoft Windows applications, and adaptable to new systems.
