Position Overview
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Director of Infrastructure and Development Services plays a pivotal role in the leadership and management of the Directorate. This position is responsible for ensuring that the services delivered align with the strategic goals of the Council and meet the diverse needs of the community.
With oversight of various services, including Strategic Asset Management, Urban Stormwater, Land Use Planning, Environmental Health and more, the Director will lead a team committed to excellence and innovation in service delivery.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have a background in infrastructure and development operations or the leadership of a complex business group, coupled with excellent leadership skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Regulatory, Planning, or related comparable experience.
- Significant experience in leading and managing infrastructure operations or a significant business unit in a complex organisation.
- Proven capacity in strategic planning and asset management.
- An experienced relationship manager preferably in a political setting or in interacting with and presenting to Boards.
- Highly developed skills in reporting writing, policy development, project and resource management.

Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will earn an attractive salary of $160,000 PLUS super and a range of benefits including:
