Program Leader Healthy Waterways

An exciting and challenging role leading the Water Resource Service for “a City within a World Heritage area”.  The role will coordinate, lead and manage Council’s Healthy Waterways Team to deliver the City’s waterway health monitoring program, environmental education and engagement program and community conservation program.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies and programs that generate positive change. You will be responsible for developing, coordinating and supporting the delivery of strategies, policies and programs to enhance Council’s management of water resources and set a coordinated approach to water management across Council, based on best practice water management principles.

 

To fulfill the role, you will be an innovative and dynamic leader with  demonstrated and relevant industry experience, able to work collaboratively with Traditional Custodians, community and Government, while leading and managing teams and influencing others in a cross organisational and external settings.

 

 

Remuneration: base salary commencing at $114,375  gross per annum

                          + 12% superannuation

                          + performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
