Circular Head Council is seeking a passionate and community-minded individual to join our team as a Connected Communities Officer. This rewarding role focuses on strengthening the health, wellbeing, and social fabric of our vibrant community through initiatives, partnerships, and events that truly make an impact.

The Opportunity

Circular Head Council is offering a rewarding role for a proactive and community-focused professional to lead and support the delivery of health and wellbeing initiatives across the region.

As our Connected Communities Officer, you will:

  • Strengthen partnerships between Council and the community

  • Support delivery of key wellbeing plans and suicide prevention initiatives

  • Facilitate local programs, events and services that build community capacity

  • Work collaboratively with service providers, community groups and stakeholders

  • Promote Council’s role in improving community outcomes

You’ll play a key role in developing inclusive, resilient communities across Circular Head.

What We Need

We're looking for someone who:

  • Builds strong, respectful relationships with a range of people

  •  Has a passion for health and wellbeing in rural communities

  •  Communicates confidently and promotes positive change

  •  Can manage community projects, events and partnerships

  •  Is flexible and willing to work outside standard hours when needed

  •  Has experience with policy input, sourcing funding, or community development (desirable)
