About the Role
You will empower, lead and coach a team of 5 direct reports within project delivery, engineering, operational services, traffic services, property management and parks and sportsgrounds.
As part of the Executive Leadership team, you will pro-actively lead from the front, driving accountability in your team whilst bringing your commercial mindset to the community.
You have the expertise to work with a range of complex matters, using your strategic approach in guiding your team to deliver best practice to the people of Ryde.

You will be influential in the future vision of City of Ryde by taking your team on a journey of growth. Your superior leadership skills are key to bringing your teams together and thinking of the future-state City of Ryde.
You will bring your senior leadership experience in project management, engineering and infrastructure services along your knowledge of working within a large complex organisation. As a leader, you will have solid negotiation, communication and relationship management experience to collaboratively work across the business.

- Strong financial management, including managing budgets and forecasting Proven successful experience in the management of organisational, technological and cultural change and experience in operating in a highly regulated area that has significant impact on an organisation's reputation

- Exceptional risk management skills, including the ability to assess, mitigate and apply effective risk control measures
- Chartered Engineer credentials required.
Your commencing annual salary range will be negotiable for the right applicant, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
