The successful person/s will model excellence in animal care standards and customer service. The role is hands on and works collaboratively to guide a small team of Animal Care Attendants as well as the co-ordination and oversight of a volunteer workforce. You will have experience in managing situations under pressure.
The role requires emotional resilience and intelligence. Relevant qualifications include animal care-related units (Certificate II/III Animal Care, Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing, or equivalent). A driver’s licence is required for animal transportation.
Must be able to work an 8-day roster that includes one weekend per fortnight.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $76,426 (pro-rata) gross per annum
+ adverse working conditions of $1,035 per annum
+ penalty rates apply for weekend work
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
