About the Role

We are seeking a Civic and Community Events Coordinator to join our events team on a temporary 7-month basis as a parental leave cover.

Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Events, you will provide assistance in planning, advising, delivery and evaluation of Council's annual civic and community events program. You will play a key role in the delivery of the City of Ryde Events Plan 2025.

About You

Are you a talented Event Coordinator with an eye for detail and proven experience working as part of a professional Events team? Do you have a track record in partnering with others to advise, strategize and deliver events? If you answered Yes, we have a perfect position for you at City at Ryde as a Civic and Community Events Coordinator!

In addition, you will also have:
  • Tertiary qualification in events, or a minimum of 3 years, relevant work experience in event planning, delivery, and evaluation.
  • A valid Working With Children Check
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
Your commencing annual salary will be $95,322.42 + Superannuation dependent on your experience and qualifications.
