About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Program Delivery, this role will utilise your extensive construction, project management, contract management and team leadership experience to deliver projects to agreed quality standards, timeframes, and budgets.

Your time will be spent working on delivering both capital works infrastructure projects, as well as the upgrades of DDA compliant bus stops to required human rights and Australian Standards throughout the LGA.

Your commencing annual salary will range from $111,650 to $136,771 + Civil Liability Allowance (3.5%) + Superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.

About You

We are looking for a Project Manager with strong project management and communication skills to join the Project Delivery Section who can drive Council's Projects and facilitate engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are achieving delivering Council's capital works program.



Key Requirements

  • Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related.
  • Extensive experience in the planning, scheduling and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects which include but not limited to civil, public domain and landscape works with high community/political visibility.
  • Excellent knowledge of legislation, regulations, design standards and codes of practice related to the construction, safety and management of civil, public domain, and landscape projects.
  • Highly developed written communication skills including the ability to develop and/or oversee the preparation of tender and contract documentation, complex briefings and technical reports and community consultation/notification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to negotiate project delivery outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.
