As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to our strategic objectives and driving key community outcomes. You will be responsible for a diverse range of services aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our residents and preserving our environment for future generations.
In this role, you will excel in managing financial resources, ensuring adherence to statutory reporting requirements, and overseeing the Planning and Environment Directorate to guarantee efficient service delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to cultivate partnerships and community engagement, while leading a dedicated team to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence.
The ideal candidate will need to have tertiary qualification in urban and regional/environmental planning or related discipline and 5 or more years’ experience at middle management level. A substantial track record in successful management of planning and environment including strategic planning, with capacity to facilitate organisational strategy into sustainable growth outcomes.
