THE OPPORTUNITY
This exciting and newly created position within Council's Customer Experience and Engagement Branch will provide high level administration support, exercising independent judgement and initiative working with internal stakeholders to deliver recommendations aimed at the efficient, effective and sustainable delivery of services and engagement performance outcomes.
This position, in collaboration with the Engagement and Customer Insights Coordinator, will support and monitor Council's strategic engagement portfolio including substantial administration and ongoing maintenance of Council’s online Your Say engagement platform and rolling operational project based initiatives.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO

- Work closely with the Engagement & Customer Insights Coordinator to ensure key engagement and partnership issues across council are addressed in a timely and effective manner
- Assist in coordination of working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate engagement and support in line with the engagement strategy
- Assist in research, analysis and reporting on relevant data related to the community profile of the Dubbo Region, as well as research, development, implementation and evaluation of Councils Community Engagement Strategy
- Produce and maintain process documentation/procedures to support contemporary engagement practices with Council
- Provide high level administration support and maintain Council’s online Your Say engagement platform
- Obtain IAP2 accreditation
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Certificate III in Business Administration or related discipline
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully as a member of a team or autonomously
- Highly developed administrative, organisational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Well developed analytical skills including the ability to conduct meaningful research, interrogate data and produce reports
- Demonstrated skills and ability to relate effectively to a variety of clients offering a high level of customer service to internal and external customers

You will be driven to succeed, have an eye for detail, be passionate about customer experience and community engagement. Your background in high level administration, engagement and/or business/customer service have provided you with experience in all areas of the role and you are keen to develop your exposure in engagement undertakings. With a high sense of accountability, great interpersonal skills and high developed communication skills you have capacity to provide quality administration, project and team coordination support.

Salary: $66,016 - $76,722 per annum plus superannuation.
