The Package: $85,658.04 - $94,654.04 gross per annum + 10.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2022).

 

Full-time – 35 hours per week. Flex time conditions may apply.  

 

Are you experienced in building surveying and looking for a new, exciting opportunity in an area experiencing high economic growth?

 

Position Overview: The role of Building Surveyor is primarily responsible for promoting and protecting a standard of building quality that meets community expectations through development assessment and provision of building inspection services for both the natural and built environment. This can involve providing professional advice to Council, the public, major developers and government authorities.

 

This exciting opportunity will be involved with maintaining an efficient and dependable approval system and building inspection service, assessment and issuing of complying development certificates, building construction certificates and swimming pool compliance certificates.

 

Who we are looking for: Council is seeking a dedicated individual proficient in effective time management capability and experience in building surveying. The successful candidate will also have strong skills in customer service and ability to negotiate, liaise and mediate outcomes with customers.

 

An accreditation of Building Surveyor – restricted (class 1-10 buildings) under the Building and Development Certifiers Regulation is required.
