Hunters Hill is a leafy sandstone peninsula stretching from Pittwater Road to Onions Point, at the convergence of the Lane Cove into the Parramatta River; approximately 7 kilometres from the CBD of Sydney. The Municipality includes the suburbs of Gladesville (part), Henley, Hunters Hill, Huntleys Cove, Huntleys Point and Woolwich. Visually, it is easy to see why the area is recognised as Australia’s oldest garden suburb, with more than 70% of the Municipality declared a conservation area.

Today, Hunters Hill has a population of 14,962 (ABS est. 2020) and is well known for its schools, accessible location, heritage conservation, open spaces, community engagement and community spirit. The area brings great value and satisfaction to residents and the wider community.

The General Manager leads a talented staff group of 60, oversees an annual budget of $25M and has stewardship of community assets valued at $230M. This is a significant and challenging role and will suit a person of vision and drive.
