Salary: $94,824- to $105,833- per annum plus superannuation, a leaseback vehicle and a 9-day fortnight
Hornsby Shire is located on Sydney's upper north shore, approximately 25 kilometres north of the CBD. Known as the ‘Bushland Shire’, our local government area is characterised by bushland comprising national park, major waterways, natural reserves and rural landscape. The rest of the Shire combines urban, rural and open spaces.
Your new role will require you to plan, manage and carry out cadastral and general survey projects as well as assist in maintaining and validating cadastral data for Council’s GIS.
Working in a close-knit team, you will undertake a variety of tasks to ensure that all surveys are carried out efficiently. Good oral and written communication skills as well as effective two-way communication is crucial to ensure tasks are completed promptly and accurately.
You will have the opportunity to work in the field at a variety of locations, while some office work is also required.
