POSITION:

Junee Shire Council currently has a Risk Manager position available for an enthusiastic individual to provide support to the Executive Team as a trusted advisor for the development and implementation of Council's Enterprise Risk Management Framework and to manage WHS requirements supported by policies and procedures to mitigate Council's exposure to both strategic and operational risks.

The position presents an excellent opportunity to pursue a career in Local Government, WHS and Enterprise Risk.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The position of Risk Manager would ideally suit a person who has previous experience and qualifications in the WHS and enterprise risk management arena, who can interpret relevant Safety and Workers Compensation Legislation and can apply it with diplomacy.  The ideal person will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, advanced computer literacy skills and will be motivated by continuous improvement.

Applicants must be either an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia.

CONDITIONS:

The position is graded in Council's Salary System with a salary package ranging from $79,000 to $96,000 per annum.
