This position reports to the Section Leader Development Assessment and will manage the Development Engineering team ensuring prompt, reliable, professional and customer driven Development Engineering service is provided.
The role is responsible for the provision of expert advice on Development Applications (eg. Sewer, water, coastal hazard, flooding, traffic, open space, landscape and storm water) in determining engineering conditions for development proposals in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and Regulation, including undertake statutory civil works certification responsibilities on behalf of Council, plus monitoring of workloads and outcomes of the team and delivering on the key priorities.
We are looking for someone to provide senior leadership to our Development Engineering team, along with providing strong support to our Section Leader.
If you have extensive knowledge and experience in undertaking Development Assessments with relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field, and are keen to achieve innovative outcomes for the organisation, this is the opportunity for you.
Your exceptional leadership qualities, high level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at once, will provide essential your success in this role.
