Berrigan Shire is a rural/urban community with a population exceeding 8,500 and is situated on the mighty Murray River NSW/Victorian border. The Shire north is predominantly agricultural with dry and irrigated farming ranging from grain, livestock, orchards and vineyards.
We are seeking the services of a passionate and motivated Director Infrastructure to join with the Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership team to help provide the focus, vision and inspiration needed to take the Council to its next level of potential. You will lead and manage the strategic policy direction, planning and delivery of the capital works program, design programs and maintenance programs across key asset classes including, roads, bridges, water and sewer, asset management and parks and gardens.
You will have many impressive qualities, including inspirational people leadership, a strong commitment to the development of an engaged organisation culture, a commercial approach, well developed relationship skills and a standout passion for service excellence.
This Award position has an attractive total remuneration package in the vicinity of $200,000 based on the skills, abilities and experience the preferred candidate brings to the role.
