The Manager Strategy & Performance is responsible for ensuring a ‘strategy-led’ and ‘service focused’ organisation, that is meeting its requirements under the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework. The position plays a key role in setting the long term direction for, and reporting overall performance on, the City and the organisation against the objectives of the Community Strategy Plan. The position is also responsible for the management of the Enterprise Project Management Office which drives and strengthens project planning and delivery.
The successful applicant will have high level skills and experience in strategic planning and strategy development for cities and/or organisations; possess a strong understanding of the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework; have a solid understanding and commitment to achieving sustainability outcomes for the local government area and the Council; have demonstrated skills and experience in implementing performance monitoring and reporting systems; demonstrate a proven ability in leading multi-disciplinary teams and have high level project management skills.
