The role: This position sits within the Transport Assets Department of MidCoast Council and is responsible for the provision of specialist advice on coastal hazards, assessment of coastal hazard and risk, contributing to the development, review and implementation of Council's CZMP's and CMP's including preparation of funding proposals, grant administration, input into the assessment of development proposals, beach condition monitoring and investigation, design and review of coastal management options and actions
Remuneration: Commencing salary will be dependent on qualifications, skills and relevant experience of the successful candidate and includes 9.5% employer superannuation contribution. Vehicle arrangements will also be discussed with the successful candidate.
Location: The successful applicant will be required to work at the Forster Office of MidCoast Council located at 4 Breese Parade, Forster. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites.
