About the Opportunity

Do you have experience and skills in Learn to Swim instructing? As part of council expanding its swim school programs, additional vacancies now exist.

This is your chance to become an integral part of the growing swim school team with multiple casual vacancies available.

Council fully supports the aims and objectives of NSW Child Protection Legislation, and associated provisions, and will implement all necessary measures to ensure a safe and supporting Council environment, which endeavours to promote child safe child friendly practices. It is essential for applicants to submit their WWCC number with their application. It is an offence under NSW legislation for barred workers to apply for or otherwise attempt to obtain, undertake or remain in child-related employment.

Salary: Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award. This position is placed in Grade 3 of Council's salary structure with a salary range of $29.97 to $34.05 per hour (includes casual loading). Commencement salary will depend upon qualifications, experience and competencies.

Conditions of Employment: Hours are rostered between 5am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday. This position will require you to work across four centre's in the Cumberland Local Government Area.
