Details: Bus Operations is looking for an outstanding highly motivated Recruitment and Training Coordinator to join our team.

As the Recruitment and Training Coordinator you will be responsible for providing quality administrative support to the Assistant Director, Recruitment and Recruitment Officer in order to meet the key Transport Canberra recruitment and training deliverables. This includes working to onboard and coordinate bus driver applications to transition to training courses and process training documentation.

The position requires the team member to assist in processing applications, medical checks, referee reports and other associated documentation required for the onboarding of new employees to vacant positions within Transport Canberra. This position works closely with both internal and external service delivery providers to achieve results in a fast-paced recruitment environment.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:

  • Permanent resident of Australia
  • To be eligible for permanent employment within the ACT Public Service you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.

Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for six months, with the possibility for permanency. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
