Te Tūranga | About the role
Provide Transportation Engineering Design Leadership: Lead the charge in defining project scope requirements and driving the technical direction of our major projects.
Oversee Technical Deliverables: Champion excellence by ensuring that suppliers' design outcomes align seamlessly with our project objectives. Inform technical decision-making on projects and change management processes.
Support Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Governance: Collaborate closely with our team of experts, external stakeholders and governance structures to facilitate informed decision-making processes.
Safety: Support Safety in Design and constructability reviews to ensure designs can be built, maintained and demolished efficiently, minimise disruption, and protect worker and public safety.
Procurement: Support procurement activities including strategic procurement planning and risk, preparation of contract documents including technical specifications.
Continuous improvement: Work with Team Leaders and the project team to improve processes across a project's life cycle at the project and programme level.
Information Management and Project Development: Become the go to person for programme information management requirements. Review suppliers Project Information Management Plans and Milestone Deliveries.
