The role

 

We are seeking enthusiastic, positive people to join the Local Laws team. Reporting to the Local Laws Officer (School Crossings), your role is to assist children to safely cross roads within our municipality. You will be issued with all of the required uniform and equipment and we will provide on the job training

 

As a Children’s Crossing Supervisor, you will be required to operate any one of the 75 crossings within the City of Kingston. The crossings operate Monday to Friday between the hours of:

  • 8.00am and 9.00am; and
  • 3.00pm and 4.00pm

 

About you

 

You will have:

  • The ability to attend shifts at short notice and have the flexibility to work across a number of locations.
  • A strong focus on safety.
  • A current Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle
  • A Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a medical examination and undertake a Police Check.
