About the Role
This exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified and passionate Waste Education Project Officer at Wingecarribee Shire Council reporting to the Manager Business Services.
The focus of this position will be to educate and assist the residents of the Shire to minimise waste, increase recycling, decrease contamination and adopt best practice in relation to the domestic waste service. The position leads projects relating to waste and assists in the administration and compliance of these projects, including sourcing and project management of grants.
The salary for this position is $81,065.92 - $94,036.28 dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.
In addition to holding the relevant tertiary qualifications in the field, you will have demonstrated experience in Waste and Recycling Programs, possess high level communication, presentation and organisational skills. You will be a self-starter with the ability to promote the awareness of waste disposal.
