About the Role
This permanent full-time position will require the successful candidate to work each Monday to Friday (35 hours per week). You will be required to provide effective and efficient certification services, attend site inspections, and prepare technical reports to Council. Salary for this position is based on skills, experience and qualifications and will range from $81,065pa - $94,036pa + 9.5% Super with access to a Council Leaseback Vehicle.
In addition to holding relevant qualifications, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Eligibility to, or accreditation with, the NSW Building Professionals Board (BPB) as an A3 level (or higher) Accredited Certifier.
Knowledge of and an ability to interpret and apply the National Construction code/Building Code of Australia, Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and Local Government Act 1993 as it applies to building work.
An ability to manage competing priorities whilst maintaining responsiveness to community and development industry enquiries including the ability to maintain accuracy and professionalism in all business dealings.
