About the role
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for overseeing Council’s property function to ensure compliance with the Local Government Act and other relevant legislation.
You will have tertiary qualifications in land, property or business management and demonstrated experience in a senior property position within a large organisation. Ideally you will have had a background in conveyancing.
You will be able demonstrate your practical experience in compulsory acquisition process and principles along with a comprehensive knowledge of land valuation principles.
Salary for this position is based on skills, experience and qualifications and will range from $88,673pa to $102,861pa plus 9.5% superannuation.
In addition to holding the relevant tertiary qualifications, you will have demonstrated experience in a senior property position within a large organisation.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience in a senior property position within a large organisation. You will be able to demonstrate your comprehensive knowledge and experience in applying the relevant legislative provisions pertaining to property matters and land use matters.
With a high level of attention to detail you will also be a highly organised person who is and able to prioritise their day successfully.
