Are you a passionate Group Exercise Instructor with management experience?

The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic fitness professional to join the leadership team overseeing Council’s leisure centres. The primary function of this role is to coordinate the group exercise programs at Beaton Park and Lakeside Leisure Centre, while also providing a supporting role in the strategic planning, development and implementation of other fitness programs and services as required. This is a part time position working 25.5 hours per week, on a temporary basis up to 1 year.

While this role is primarily focused on administrative tasks associated with management of the timetables and Group Exercise personnel, you will also be required to lead by example, actively instructing classes and supervising the facilities as required.

Under Part 2, Section 6 of the Child Protection (Working With Children) Act 2012, this position has been designated as requiring a Working With Children Check. If successful for an interview, you will be required to present your NSW Working With Children Check application/clearance reference number.

Suitable candidates may be placed on an eligibility list for future opportunities in the team, which may include part time or temporary and/or relief list roles.
