We have an exciting position for an experience Information Officer to join the dynamic Knowledge Resource Group.


The successful candidate will be responsible for
• Records management within our electronic document management system (TRIM) including the creation and maintenance of records, TRIM helpdesk support and development and delivery of records management training
• Coordinating the management of archive records - including preservation of historical records e.g. photos, films, documents, etc
• Administrator of the cataloguing (library) system
• Providing research services to staff
• Content editor for divisional intranet
• Coordinating the acquisition and renewal of serials / memberships including relevant alert services
• Coordination of inbound/outbound document distribution


Essential Criteria
• Qualifications and/or experience in Records Management or a related discipline;
• Significant experience in using an electronic records and document management system (preferable HP-TRIM)
• Extensive knowledge and experience in information retrieval methods to deliver accurate and timely responses to user’s enquiries
• Demonstrated high level oral and written communication with a strong customer focus and desire to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of professionals
• Demonstrated skills with IT systems, particularly MS Office
• Commitment to continuous personal development


Desirable
• Knowledge and experience complying with the State Records Act 1998
• Experience in the care and maintenance of a library collection
