Purchasing and Supply Officer
• $46,171 to $50,966 p.a. (Inc. Super)
• 76 Hr Fortnight + RDO
Providing cost effective purchasing services to Council, this exciting new position will optimise the organisation’s purchasing power, ensuring value for money in all purchasing activities and adherence to relevant legislative and administrative procedures.
Effective alone or in teams, you have excellent customer service skills, thrive on change and possess sound mathematical and computer skills. You also have a Class C Driver’s Licence and the ability to understand and apply administrative policies and procedures.
A lateral thinker with problem solving skills, you have an unswerving commitment to safety, ethics and service excellence. Ideally you have experience / skills in stores management, tendering procedures and contract administration.
Formal qualifications in Local Government, Business Administration or the equivalent would be an advantage, as would experience with Civica Local Government accounting software.
