The City Marketing Department is responsible for promoting the City and Council, working with local and international partners and developing and implementing an extensive community and civic events program. The successful applicant will work in the events team, within the City Marketing Department, to deliver this community and civic events program which contributes to raising the profile of Penrith City.
You will be responsible for assisting with event development, promotion and marketing, coordination and implementation, including working within a set budget, monitoring and evaluation, administration and accessing and managing sponsorship and grants.
You will also work closely with a range of stakeholders including community organisations, contractors and elected representatives.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with excellent teamwork skills. You must have a diploma in Events Management or other relevant qualification/s or partial completion of a relevant degree.
Commencing Salary: $51,900 per annum
