The purpose here is to develop and implement the Growing Blacktown – Sustainable Local Food Project. This project aims to support local food initiatives, reduce the environmental impacts associated with food consumption and provide alternative opportunities for food production in the Blacktown Local Government Area. You bring relevant tertiary qualifications in an environmental or related field to the table, together with experience and knowledge of current environmental issues, specifically food sustainability and/or permaculture and demonstrated experience in group facilitation and community engagement. Relevant Local Government experience would be advantageous.
