Manager – Human Resources

Managing a small team and reporting to the Group Manager Corporate Services, the Manager Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the day to day operational function of the Human Resources Service Unit whilst playing a key role as part of the Executive Team in identifying, driving and implementing future HR and organisational initiatives around such areas as Best Value Review, Organisational Development, OH&S Strategy and Workforce/Succession Planning.

The successful applicant will have relevant Tertiary qualifications coupled with extensive human resource and organisational development experience at the senior level. Demonstrated high-level skills in change management and workplace reform are also key criteria. Applicants will need to be sensitive to political and social issues and must be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and comfortably with a diverse range of stakeholders. Outstanding communication skills will complement your ability to translate strategy and policy into operational outcomes.
