Salary: $1,475.10 - $1,690.41 pw + super

Work Type: Temporary Full time up to 12 months

This role will see you working with customers and staff, liaising with external legal providers and supporting legal matters such as contracts, public access to information and privacy as well as supporting Council's governance team with policies, procedures and other governance matters.

Essential:

  • Certificate/Diploma re Administration, Governance or Legal Studies or higher qualification.
  • Excellent administrative skills and experience.
  • Familiarity with legal practices and concepts.
  • Working experience with corporate systems such as MS office and electronic document management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • High level interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience using Infocouncil software.
  • Previous government experience.

To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs.
