As our Director Strategy Partnerships and Engagement, you’ll partner with our CEO and Councillors to address a broad range of challenges and opportunities within Council and our community.

Leading a team with a combination of internal and external priorities and stakeholders, you will ensure alignment between effective Council services and community needs.

Find growth through:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for economic development, corporate communications, customer experience, and information management
  • Fostering sustainable community participation and economic development with proactive programs that facilitate business and industry attraction, retention, and expansion
  • Leading and embedding the integrated planning and reporting framework, including the strategic plans, priorities, and actions
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement through effective service reviews across all Council functions

What you’ll bring:

  • Degree qualified in Business/Management, Commerce, Communications, Economics, or related discipline
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated commercial drive
  • Proven success in engaging the community and delivering customer-focused outcomes
  • Demonstrated success in leading organisational and cultural change initiatives
